Job Description:
Position Summary The Healthcare Market Leader drives strategy,
growth, and client engagement within the healthcare market. This
role partners with the Practice Leader and studio leadership to
develop and implement strategic market plans, enhance brand
presence, and expand market share. Key responsibilities include
analyzing market trends, building and maintaining relationships
with clients and industry partners, and serving as an account
executive for healthcare clients. This Leader also supports
business planning and evolving service lines, ensuring continued
innovation and operational excellence across the practice.
Essential Functions Develop and implement strategic market plans in
collaboration with the Practice Leader to enhance brand presence
and market share. Partner with studio and office leadership to
achieve strategic goals. Analyze market trends, customer
preferences, and competitive landscape to identify and pursue
opportunities. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences,
and professional organizations to enhance visibility and thought
leadership. Coach and mentor practice area members on healthcare
trends, innovations, and regulations. Identify and build
relationships with key stakeholders, including partners,
internal/external clients, and industry influencers. Ability to
perform as account executive to healthcare clients within assigned
market. Ability to support business planning by supporting
additional service lines, be able to perform and support within
Advisory Services. Supporting business planning for evolving
services. Serve as the primary client interface for the practice in
respective market, building and maintaining strong connections.
Engage from initial marketing stages through construction
completion. In conjunction with the Project Delivery Leader and
Project Manager(s), evaluate studio efficiency and effectiveness in
terms of staff, business, and financial operations. In conjunction
with the Project Delivery Leader and Project Manager(s), monitor
staffing, utilization, and growth across the studio. Up to 35%
travel. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in
Architecture (or related field) and licensed to practice. At least
ten years of combined internship and professional experience,
including managing teams and projects. Proven experience, with a
strong background in healthcare projects such as laboratories,
research facilities, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare environments.
Deep knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory compliance
requirements. Ability to think creatively and strategically.
Expertise in design, project management, estimating needs and
budgets, and delivering projects on time. Excellent communication
and leadership skills, able to motivate and guide teams while
maintaining confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Office,
familiar with Adobe software, and strong knowledge of building
technology. Highly organized, quick to learn, attentive to detail,
and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong
analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrates cultural
awareness and sensitivity. Preferred Qualifications Master of
Architecture Leadership experience on projects that have won design
awards Experience presenting in public and/or private
presentations, workshops, etc. Experience with Newforma Project
Center and/or Newforma Project Analyzer Experience with Bluebeam
PDF Revu Experience with Autodesk Revit software Additional
relevant certifications indicating additional expertise such as for
construction administration, interior design, LEED/Green
Globes/sustainability, etc. Physical Demands The physical demands
