Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. A temporary teaching position is available for a
Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support an elementary
student within a public school setting in the Atlanta area. This
contract role spans from mid-March to late May and is focused on
delivering specialized instruction and support to an individual
student during a fixed morning schedule. Responsibilities: Provide
specialized teaching and support to a student with hearing
impairments. Utilize fluent American Sign Language (ASL) to
facilitate communication and instruction. Implement Individualized
Education Program (IEP) goals and accommodations. Collaborate with
school staff and families to ensure consistent support. Maintain
accurate records and progress reports for the student. Work within
a strict daily schedule from 10:20 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., Monday
through Friday. Qualifications: Active Georgia Department of
Education certification in Teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Fluency
in American Sign Language (ASL) is mandatory. Experience working
with deaf or hard of hearing students, preferably in an elementary
school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
engage students, families, and educational team members. Ability to
maintain a professional and flexible approach within a contract
role. Location: Position is based in the Atlanta area, serving one
elementary school student. Work Schedule: Approximately 7.5 to 10
hours per week. Fixed schedule: Monday through Friday, from 10:20
a.m. to 11:50 a.m. EST. This contract role offers the opportunity
