Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This position offers an opportunity to support young
learners in an early childhood educational setting specializing in
special education. The role focuses on delivering tailored
instruction and fostering an inclusive environment that meets the
unique needs of students with diverse learning abilities. Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Adapt teaching methods
and materials to accommodate different learning styles and
abilities Collaborate with families, support staff, and other
educators to promote student progress Monitor and document student
performance and behavior Create a positive, nurturing classroom
environment that encourages growth and development Qualifications
and Experience: Valid teaching certification in special education
Experience working with early childhood learners in a special
education context Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
work effectively with students, families, and colleagues Knowledge
of current special education laws, best practices, and
instructional strategies Ability to manage classroom dynamics and
support social-emotional development Location: This role is based
in Kingston, NY, within an early childhood educational setting. Job
Details: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
