Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field,
or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in
program management. 10 years of experience in supply chain or
operations. 10 years of experience managing technical
cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience with server
infrastructure, server hardware, networking, storage solutions, and
virtualization technology. Preferred qualifications: 10 years of
experience managing complex cross-functional or cross-team
projects. Experience driving innovation, including adopting new
technologies and methodologies to improve overall performance.
Ability to make critical decisions under pressure, and balancing
technical requirements with business objectives. Ability to clearly
articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
while being recognized as a thought leader across the organization
and industry. Excellent customer focus, with the ability to
communicate with highly technical management teams. Passion for
functioning in an ambiguous and evolving engineering operations

globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your
technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects
from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan
requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and
communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the
company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses
and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the
technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this
role, you will build collaborative bridges across Google including
platform engineering, fleet management, tech writing, operations
teams, and multiple engineering organizations. You will serve as a
scout for new products, assessing risks, advocating for needs, and
guiding continuous improvement across the organization. You will
also manage cross-functional projects in one of the world's most
impressive computing infrastructures. As the business changes at a

and much more. The US base salary range for this full-time position
is $240,000-$334,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Lead key programs, and communicate program health,
status, and actions to stakeholders. Collaborate across
organizational levels and boundaries. Drive efforts to improve
efficiency, cycle times, reliability, predictability and on-time
delivery. Work with cross-functional partners to design automation
needs for scale and efficiency. Define specifications, which
include establishing detailed technical requirements for server
hardware and specifying the performance metrics, scalability goals,
and compliance standards. Collaborate with Hardware Engineering
teams to align on the product roadmap and features, especially
around deployability and serviceability of the hardware systems
including advocating for new technologies. Drive compatibility
across hardware platforms and data center types to align features,
capabilities, and requirements of enabling tools for the data
center technicians. Be a thought partner to the leaders of the
server operations organization and ensure the reliability and
scalability of server operations.
