Voyage - Apply Now Primary PurposeThe primary purpose of the Vice
President, Corporate Development is to drive business growth and
enhance market presence through the development and management of
key strategic investments and initiatives. This position involves
identifying, evaluating, developing, implementing, and executing
priority strategic opportunities to advance Voya's growth and
financial objectives, including through organic builds, strategic
partnerships, and M&A. Close collaboration with Voya's business
leadership teams will be an essential element of success, and for
that reason an ability to establish and maintain strong
relationships, create trust, and inspire confidence are
prerequisites. This position is also responsible for supporting the
core corporate strategy function in developing, evaluating, and
executing on the company's strategy and identifying opportunities
for revenue growth and market expansion.Reporting relationshipThe
VP, Corporate Development will report to the EVP, Chief Strategy,
M&A, and Corporate Transactions Officer.Key
ResponsibilitiesCorporate Development: Identify, evaluate, develop,
implement, and execute strategic investments and initiatives that
align with the organization's strategic and business objectives in
the workplace solutions and investment management sectors. Develop
strategic initiatives and go to market execution as these programs
get off the ground. Supporting the core corporate strategy function
in developing, evaluating, and executing on the company's strategy
and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and market
expansion. Partner to define the multi-channel and multi-client
segment strategy approach for Voya businesses as these entities
continue to grow and expand into new areas.Strategic Partnership
Management: Establish and maintain strategically significant
external partnerships in connection with key investments and
initiatives, fostering collaboration and ensuring mutual success in
achieving strategic goals.Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct
market research and analysis to maintain a detailed company
perspective on emerging trends and the competitive landscapes in
which Voya's businesses operate.Financial Analysis: Evaluate the
financial implications of potential partnerships, including revenue
projections, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI
assessments.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with
internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development,
and finance, to align partnership strategies with overall business
objectives.Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated
with partnerships, ensuring compliance with regulatory
requirements, and safeguarding the organization's
reputation.Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of
industry trends, the competitive landscape, and innovation in the
financial services and healthcare sectors, providing thought
leadership within the organization and the industry.Technical
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or
related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and managing strategic
partnerships in the financial services industry, with a focus on
health, retirement, or asset management solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability
to assess development opportunities from a strategic and financial
perspective.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and through clear,
technically sound writing
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key
stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business
growth through partnership development and collaboration.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends in the

They should be able to conduct ROI analysis and make data-driven
decisions to optimize financial outcomes. Communication
Proficiency: Effective communication is key for the VP to build and
maintain relationships with external partners, internal
stakeholders, and the executive team. They should be able to

ideas clearly and compellingly.Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is
committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable
pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual
base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this
position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary,
Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives,
sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to
reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this
posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted
salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work
experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level
