Job Description:

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Follow provided protocols and policies to perform MRI on inpatient, emergency room, and outpatient patients. - Required to start IVs, and administer contrast. - Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of technologists, nurses, doctors, and transporters. Description: Schedule: Thursday 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Work in an outpatient center. Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. Perform a variety of MRI scans including body, neuro, extremities, abdominal, pelvic, and angiogram. No cardiac scans or breast scans during the week. Pacemaker scans are not performed during the week. Utilize Epic, GE, and Siemens systems. Scrub color is pewter gray or black. Expected to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Call requirements will apply. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Full compliance is required to start on time. Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start. Availability to submit core items and complete required labs within 48 hours of contract signing is essential. Must be available to work on major holidays without the ability to request time off for those dates.
