Job Description:

As a Radiology/Limited X-Ray Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to aid physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injury. Your role is crucial in ensuring that high-quality x-ray images are produced in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to departmental policies and compliance with health and safety guidelines. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect them from unnecessary radiation exposure. Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort. Maintain patient records and radiologic equipment, performing regular checks and maintenance activities. Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation. Evaluate the images for quality and coverage of the area needed for diagnoses. Collaborate with radiologists to determine the need for retakes. Proficiency in using radiologic imaging equipment. Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide clear instructions to patients. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
