Requirements Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years in Recovery or Post-Anesthesia Nursing License: Active RN license (State or Compact) Certifications: BLS (AHA) NIHSS Experience with: Orthopedic post-op care and patient monitoring Responsibilities Monitor and provide post-operative care to orthopedic patients in the recovery unit, ensuring stability and safety. Assess patients’ vital signs, manage pain, and respond to changes in condition promptly. Administer medications, IV therapy, and required treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless post-op care and handoffs.
