Job Description Job Description Salary: APT is looking for
quality oriented and compassionate Speech Language Pathologists to
work in a multi-setting, pediatric environment: Outpatient Clinic,
Teletherapy, and Early Intervention/Home Therapy. APTs
opportunities are unique because we have three different settings
to offer our therapists, all under ONE banner. We pride ourselves
in having a top notch, multi-disciplinary, collaborative team of
therapists working in all three settings throughout the Atlanta
Metro Area. Our oldest division, Early Intervention/Home Therapy,
has been providing multidisciplinary therapy services in the
natural environment since 2002. We have been running our outpatient
clinics since 2008, with plans to grow our footprint over the next

Our clinic is currently located at 6035 Peachtree Rd Suite C-120,
Doraville, GA 30360. We will be opening up a second clinic in
Gwinnett in December, with opportunities to work at either or both
locations! SLP Assignment Details: Performs appropriate initial
speech therapy evaluations and designs a speech therapy plan of
care based on the results of the initial assessment Designs the
treatment plan appropriate for the patient's age, educational
level, and cultural background Demonstrates advanced knowledge of
diagnoses/conditions seen in speech therapy and within the specific
program or location Selects, performs, and interprets the results
of ST examinations of speech/language, cognition-communication,
oral motor, voice, and swallowing Identified actual or potential
problems that would impact the ST treatment plan as well as the
overall patient plan of care Interacts regularly with others
involved in the patient's care to incorporate an interdisciplinary
treatment approach for coordinated quality care Reassesses patient
status in response to treatment and goal achievement, redefines
problems and modifies goals and treatments as indicated OT
Assignment Details: Ability to work in clinic PRN to 30 hours per
week focus on recommendations for diet changes, exercise programs,
activity modifications, stress management techniques, and sleeping
positions. treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the
therapeutic use of everyday activities, helping these patients
develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain the skills needed
for daily living and working. help children gain independence while
also strengthening the development of fine motor skills, sensory
motor skills, and visual motor skills that children need to
function and socialize Observe children from a holistic
perspective, determining where delays or limitations are coming
from, especially in the areas of fine motor skills, cognitive
skills, social development, and establishing self-care routines.
Documents and communicates (to the parents as well as in reports,
daily notes and in evaluations) observations regarding the patients
progress, lack of progress, goals, etc. This setting involves
working with students with a wide variety of disabilities, both in
type and severity. Treatment typically takes place weekly in a
special clinic that is set up to address building underlying skills
in a playful way. Qualifications : Master' Degree in Speech
Language Pathology ASHA Certification (preferred) or CF-SLP GA SLP
License Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited
school of occupational therapy Be committed to meeting the needs of
