Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid RN license with documented experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Proficient in managing a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac patient population Skilled in caring for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, post-cardiac surgery (CTS), chest pain (C/P), and administration of cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Vasopressors Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:3-4 to provide dedicated, high-quality care Current BLS and ACLS certification required Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients in the PCU/IMCU, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols Monitor and manage cardiac drips and respond to patient changes promptly Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists and cardiac surgeons Maintain accurate documentation, including photo ID and demographic information per facility standards Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac health and treatment plans Location:Situated in Atlanta, GA, this opportunity places you in a vibrant metropolitan area known for its diverse culture, excellent dining options, and numerous recreational activities.
