Job Description Position: Perm – Physician – Gastroenterology Location: Douglasville, GA Facility: Douglasville Medical Offices (Covering Hiram and Douglasville) Overview: United Digestive’s Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates is actively seeking a qualified Physician to join our esteemed team in Douglasville, Georgia. Situated just 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, and major recreational venues, this location offers an excellent balance of professional opportunity and quality of life. Our practice currently includes over 200 providers dedicated to advancing digestive health and enhancing patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Provide outpatient gastroenterology services at Douglasville and Hiram Medical Offices. Manage approximately 15-18 patients daily, delivering comprehensive care. Perform a full range of procedures including colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), ERCP, EUS, enteroscopy, hemorrhoid banding, flexible sigmoidoscopy, infusion therapies, telehealth consultations, nutrition counseling, Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF), and Video Capsule Endoscopy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 5 MD/DO physicians and 3 advanced practice providers. Participate in a shared hospital call schedule of 1:3, ensuring prompt coverage and continuity of care. Engage in both clinical duties and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive, innovative environment. Qualifications: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology. VMS (Verification Medical Staff) certification required. Candidates from recent residency/fellowship training through 2025 are encouraged to apply. Prior board certification reactivation considered on a case-by-case basis. We welcome applications from new graduates. Not accepting visa-sponsored or locum tenens candidates.
