Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 6, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background. Details - Operating Room (OR) unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center - High-volume OR environment handling complex, diverse, and severe trauma cases - 13-week contract with 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) - 3 shifts per week - On-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required - Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month - Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements - Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand - Previous travel nursing experience required - Level 1 trauma center OR experience required - Proven success in high-pressure, large-scale, high-volume trauma environments - Strong OR skills checklist ratings required - Burn experience preferred Additional Information - Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered - Local candidates are accepted for this position - Copies of active certifications must be provided for consideration - References are not required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-685936.
