Join Koch Foods, a leader in the poultry processing industry, as a Utility Feed Mill Worker at one of our state-of-the-art feed mills. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and efficiency of feed production which directly impacts our poultry operations. The Utility Feed Mill Worker will operate machinery, handle ingredients, and maintain strict safety and quality control standards to support the continuous supply of feed necessary for poultry production. Operate feed mill equipment and machinery safely according to standard operating procedures. Monitor ingredients mix and adjust the feeding mechanism to meet production specifications. Perform routine maintenance on mill equipment and machinery to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct quality control tests to ensure that the feed produced meets the required standards. Manage inventory of feed ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, participating in safety trainings and drills. Assist in the implementation of improvements in the feed production process to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a high level of safety and efficiency. Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery and equipment. Strong attention to detail and capability to follow complex instructions. Basic understanding of agricultural or feed mill operations. Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Certifications in machinery operation or safety procedures are advantageous but not required.
