Job Summary
Under general supervision of Compliance Manager, responsible for
effective interpretation and monitoring of the Georgia Board of
Regents' policies regarding conflicts of interest (COI) and Georgia
Tech's COI policies, Georgia laws, and federal regulations, and of
employee codes of conduct related to conflict of interest.
This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Senior
management, Georgia Tech faculty, researchers and staff.
This position typically will advise and counsel: Senior management,
Georgia Tech faculty, researchers and staff.
This position will supervise: N/A
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Review faculty, staff, and researchers' financial
disclosures for potential conflicts of interest and work with COI
staff to make an initial determination (based on a review of
relevant policy/regulation) as to whether a potential conflict
exists
Job Duty 2 - Review annual certifications to highlight for further
reviews
Job Duty 3 - Support development of training and education programs
on conflict-of-interest areas
Job Duty 4 - Track disclosures for annual review
Job Duty 5 - Implement policies and procedures meant to ensure
compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
Job Duty 6 - Generate COI advisory letters and COI management
plans
Job Duty 7 - Perform other related job duties assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Required Experience
Three to four years of compliance, auditing, or other related
experience

Master's Degree highly preferred or equivalent combination of
education and experience

Proposed Salary
Proposed Salary $61,759 to $75,000
