A company is looking for a Release of Information
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Organizes and processes medical records requests while ensuring
compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
Acts as the central contact for various audit activities and
manages denial management
Ensures patient rights and maintains confidentiality while
processing requests for protected health information
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or 2 years of medical office or medical record
experience required
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is required
Experience with medical records in a healthcare setting is
preferred
Ability to maintain productivity and quality in a customer-focused
environment
Familiarity with standard practices and procedures in the field is
essential
