Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in
Jackson, GA. This contract position offers a chance to provide
critical SLP services to children, helping them develop strong
communication skills. The role starts as soon as possible and
continues through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students
across grades K-12 - Collaborate with educators and other
specialists to develop and implement individualized education
programs (IEPs) - Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to connect
with students remotely - Complete documentation and progress
reports in compliance with school policies - Participate in team
meetings to discuss student progress and therapy plans
Qualifications: - Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
required - Credentials such as SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical
Competence) and CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) preferred -
Experience in providing school-based and teletherapy
speech-language services - Strong communication and organizational
skills - Ability to work professionally within a school environment
Work Schedule: - Hours: 35 hours per week - Days: 5 days per week
