Description American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist
(CCC-SLP, BLS) with at least 2 years of experience for an acute
care department serving a diverse patient population. Details -
Work in an acute care hospital setting supporting patients
throughout the hospital - Serve patients with a wide range of
medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, stroke,
neurological, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive
impairments - Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a schedule of 5
shifts per week - Schedule varies; minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks,
with preference for coverage up to 4 weekends per 4 weeks - No
on-call required Requirements - Master's degree in Speech-Language
Pathology - Current CCC-SLP certification - BLS certification
required - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the specialty - Prior
acute care experience preferred - Proficiency with MBS/FEES is a
plus but not required - License required if applicable Additional
Information - Provide evaluation and treatment for swallowing,
communication, and cognitive disorders across a broad acuity
spectrum - Work with interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic acute
care environment - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will
be considered - Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a
2-year break before eligibility - Minimum 13-week contract duration
- RTO (requested time off) must be declared up front - Weekend
